So the other day I started an account with Mint.com. Mint is a website that organizes your personal finances. I know what you are saying, "Jen, why the heck are you trusting a website with that kind of data?" Good question. And if you know me well, I do quite a bit of homework on techy stuff and found their Privacy & Security page satisfying. Plus I do all of my banking online anyhow, and am looking for something to help me get all my banks and credit cards organized. Rachel and I have been using Microsoft Money, but I find it rather clunky to use at best. Plus, Mint.com will give suggestions on better cards or savings options based on my accounts. Now that is good info to have, but I was skeptical on what kind of information they would be using/sharing.
That's where the EULAyzer comes in. This cool little program takes the EULA (End-User License Agreement) that no one wants to read and flags any interesting words or phrases before you click the "I Agree" button.
So don't forget to use EULAyzer and I might post later about my thoughts of mint.com.
