More efficent blog reading...

So not only do I write this blog, I read a lot of blogs.

But how do I find the time to follow over 30 blogs?

Well if you haven't found Google Reader yet (you'll need a gmail account which you should have anyway!), then you need to check it out. Don't worry, I'll wait...

Alright, so essentially Reader is like an inbox for your blogs much like how your email inbox is for your...well emails. And like your email, you don't visit your friends email address's to see if they sent you anything they just end up there. So instead of having to visit different blogs to find out if anything new has been posted, I just visit one page (Google Reader) and it shows me all the new posts from all the blogs I've Subscribed to.

I tell you this because I just found a new firefox extension that solves the only issue I've had with Google Reader, which is not being able to view or write comments directly from it. Before I'd need to click on the link to view the actual post just to see if there were comments. But now with this simple Firefox extension, one click of the button brings me the full page right inside my Reader window! From there I can see the whole original blog post and can read any comments or post my own or even view media such as videos.

So what do you need to be able to do this?

2. Firefox (Click here or find the badge on the lower left of this page)

And viola! Easy and efficient blog reading...Now you may read and comment on more blogs or simply do so more efficiently!
